Curations

A personal archive of paintings, sculpture, and visual references — read as associative threads, composed to be looked at, not scrolled.

Curations is a drifting, museum-like canvas where artworks float around questions and marginal notes instead of sitting in a grid. Rather than categories, pieces are gathered into "threads" — constellations like Realms of Venus, Closed Eyes, or Mindscape — so that curating becomes a way of reading images together. It feels like an exhibition guide, a whiteboard, an archive wall, and a personal art notebook at once.

Role

Design · curation · visual system · frontend

(Next.js App Router, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, Framer Motion)

What it does

A hand-arranged gallery you pan and drag through. Artworks rest in sepia and reveal color and captions on hover; tape scraps, thin connector lines, and marginal notes link pieces into small visual arguments. A thread can be published as a permanent page, and you can return to "haunt" a gallery and notice when it grows — no counts, no numbers.

Why it exists

A reaction against infinite scroll and the grid, which flatten looking into swiping. Curations gives images room to sit beside one another and mean something in relation — slow looking, on purpose.

What makes it mine

Every wall is composed by hand. The voice in the margins, the choice of threads, the paper grain, the refusal to count or rank anything — it's a curatorial sensibility turned into software rather than a CMS with a theme.
